Richard Poole

Richard Poole is a composer, collaborator and performing musician. In addition to creating his own solo works on piano, Richard specializes in teaching and practicing the creative process in a collaborative setting. As a Composer, Richard views improvisation as a methodology for creative, collaborative work.    

As Artist-in-Residence, the process of creating and actualizing, from concept to completion, is best experienced in partnership with a professor, another artist, or in an ensemble setting. Either by hearing Richard Poole’s music or experiencing his collaborative works, Richard offers us a view into another dimension of art, creativity, and music.
